Surgery Area: Please speak with a member of reception staff to ensure you are eligible to register with the practice.
To Register with the practice
Please contact reception, where staff will assist with registration. Photographic proof of ID and residency will be required.
A new registration appointment will be necessary.
Patient Rights
Patients have a right to be registered with a GP, to receive all necessary primary & emergency care. The practice endeavours to treat you with respect & courtesy. You have the right to privacy & confidentiality at all times.
Patient Responsibilities
Patients must inform us immediately of any change of name, address or phone number or any other relevant information, keep appointments and give adequate notice to cancel or postpone appointments.
If a patient is violent or abusive to any member of staff or other person on the practice premises they will be removed from the practice list immediately.
Aggressive or abusive behaviour on the telephone will not be tolerated. The practice maintains the right to deal with these situations with the advice of a solicitor and or the GMC

The practice area is covered by community nurses. You may contact the practice to leave a message for a district nurse
Community Midwives
Maternity clinics
- Florencecourt every Wednesday morning 9.30am – 12.30
- Derrylin alternate Thursday mornings 9.30am – 12.30
These clinics are run by Midwives and are by appointment only
Home Visits
If you need a home visit by a Doctor to your home. Please telephone to arrange this in the morning surgery (up until 1pm). Please do not make unnecessary requests for home visits as on average we can see 6-7 patients in surgery in the time it takes to do one home visit.
